about
A catalogue towards understanding.
One person submits a poem.
Another person responds visually.
Read through all sections for instructions.
Rules
open to anyone who wants to contribute.
Embrace the title, imagine performing the poem to a 5 year old and watching them experience the artwork, with the knowing feeling that you could be leaving an impression. Let your own comfort level choose.
Work will be screened, but we will provide feedback on rejection. Once this grows I intend to share and open the curation process, it’s just simpler if it’s just me now.
Rights
The posting process will make you go through a Creative Commons attribution decider and you can choose your license. (in the future, just say what you want in the email)
What and How Submit
a poem:
I wasn’t really thinking that the poetry would be by the hypothetically you, but it can be, but more of a poem that you red as an adult and felt like you wished you read it younger. The clarity you got from a reading poem, that wisdom that you wished someone had taught you younger. If anything use this as an excuse to go indulge in poetry, i believe if you found this website you can find your own way to poetry you like, but the larger this site grows hopefully it can become a simple place to come, to start a journey on an idea.
an artwork:
that is a response to a poem that somebody submitted. Graphically the page will be a link to poem, alpha checkers if there is no art work.
The work can be anything, fill the page, format it like a book, put a photo in a small square that moves around the frame, ideally I want to offer this space as totally open, let anyone code anything and then just load my site on top of it. But for most people i think that’s too much, so we made some [templates] to keep it simple.
This is a website for children, or adults adjacent to children who hopefully don’t have free access to the internet

A.I. Usage and Feelings
This needs to be addressed upfront just for everyone’s benefit. I don’t think we will ever go back to not having A.I. All moral ethical concerns aside about hows it happening, and how I believe we all see that its probably happening wrong and it some real awful shit is about to happen because a lot of things probably could be fixed if we as a “country” could seize all the corporations and share the fruits of AI labor, as a collective that soon will have to live off the access to a corporations. So, be resanable with AI use, it’s not a creator but can be a tool
Colophon
Websites need these too. typeset in ?. Made with cargo collective, asked chatgpt for some help too. the conceptual framework of the project was not AI.
